Château Latour à Pomerol 2019 opens with a seductive, muscular bouquet of dark cherry, wild blackberry, violets, and earthy tobacco. On the palate, this full-bodied Merlot delivers intense dark fruit concentration framed by a tightly wound core of ultra-fine, powdery tannins. The finish is remarkably long, fresh, and savoury, leaving distinct, lingering impressions of black truffle, dark chocolate, and a touch of mint.
